By accessing or using Cowork ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
Cowork provides workspace booking services, community access, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, members, and administrators.
To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
When you book a space through Cowork, you agree to pay the specified fees for the time period selected. Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment processing.
All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time, but such changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
Payments are processed securely through Paystack, our third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your payment card details.
Each space has a maximum capacity. You agree not to exceed this capacity. Violation may result in immediate termination of your booking without refund.
When using our spaces, you agree to:
You are responsible for any damage to the space or equipment caused by you or your guests during your booking. Cowork reserves the right to charge for repairs or replacement.
Cowork is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. We recommend securing your belongings and not leaving valuables unattended.
Our spaces are monitored by CCTV for security purposes. By using our spaces, you consent to such monitoring. Access cards or codes are for your exclusive use and must not be shared.
All content on the Platform, including logos, designs, text, graphics, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is the property of Cowork or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.
By posting or submitting content to the Platform (such as reviews or comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Services.
You may not use the Platform to:
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 shall survive termination.
THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COWORK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; OR (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cowork, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your access to or use of the Platform; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party rights; or (iv) any content you submit to the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
